Dear clients:

Exciting things are happening at Dogwood! After 30 years of yellow
counters and floors, and more than 15 years with the grey counters, we are
remodeling half of our building now, and the rest later this year. Please
bear with us through the mess, and we will have a better environment for
you and your pets.

To facilitate the floor and counter changes, we will be closed this Saturday, July 24th. We will reopen Monday morning at 7:30. Please plan accordingly for food and prescription pickup and patient visits.

If you have a pet health emergency this Saturday, please call SE Portland Animal
Hospital at 503-255-8139.

Pet Cancer Awareness Day at Gresham Petco, May 8th, 10-2 p.m.

Come to PETCO to learn more about cancer in pets, how you can help prevent cancer, and some approaches to treating it. Dogwood Pet Hospital staff will be present to answer your questions about cancer in animals. We will be presenting general information, not addressing specific cases. We look forward to seeing you!

Over the last 15 years, our hospital cat, Casper, has been a common fixture around Dogwood Pet Hospital. He often spends his Golden Years comfortably nestled on the receptionist’s desk eagerly accepting and giving affection to all that stop to visit. As a pet ambassador, Casper has spent many years visiting and nurturing patients during recovery. At 20, we are enthused to report that Casper is still healthy and happy!
