Chuck Hawkins, D.V.M., Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist
Dr. Hawkins graduated from Purdue University in 1968. After two years as a
veterinarian in the US Army, he brought his family to Portland. Dogwood is
the second practice he built (literally-hammer, saw, and other tools). One
of his favorite pastimes and sports is long distance bicycle riding (ask him
about his tours). In between bicycle tours he has developed a powerful interest
in holistic veterinary medicine (treating your whole pet, not just the specific
problem) with a combination of traditional Western medicine, nutrition and herbal
therapies. He has received extensive acupuncture training through a five-month
course by the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society.

Becky Prull, D.V.M., Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist
Dr. Prull is a graduate of Colorado State University in 2005. While
helping pets with acupuncture and conventional medicine, her passion is
exotic animals. Any non-poisonous, non-primate pet that is legal to own
interests her, and she has invested a lot of her experience in helping
these pets. She loves seeing the variety of animals, including
scorpions, tarantulas, geckos, iguanas, ball pythons, rats, hamsters,
rabbits, cockatiels, finches, and many, many more! |
